Today, Apple have added new level of charismatic view with 3D imaginary for iconic landmarks for London, UK. Beyond expectation, Apple Maps are automatically start displaying correct time on Big Ben (London) and a widely loved London Eye upon selecting Maps’ automated 3D Flyover feature.

These features is added in addition to Apple’s inclusion of new Flyover cities from North & South America as well from Europe.
Though, It is no way going to improve Maps experience in finding local points nor it is going to provide realtime view (since it is animated) but if we talk about new horizon in Maps, this is just an incredible idea what it can do to maps. We can probably see Rivers, lakes, seas, big clocks, and moving structure to be animated just like we seen update from Apple. Moreover it can be a huge idea to display moving/changing banners – ads or signboards to improve all over user experience as well include some cool advertising features.
Apple is also trying to collect all local places using Apple Connect feature to compete with Google’s Maps in all possible ways. Let’s wait and see more improvement in Maps. To remind, Apple Maps was most criticised when it was launched with iOS 6 by comparing with Google Maps. With more and more addition and improvements, Apple Maps are brilliantly providing 3D buildings, trees and iconic structures and now 3D imaginary that can make you feel like real time visit of particular place right from your screen.
To checkout this new feature, Open Maps App on Mac, iPhone or iPad. Search London and select “Turn Flyover Mode” on. That’s it.
All the best, Apple.
